3D Product Support This 3D proofing feature connects PrintNow’s online editing technology to products developed in 3D modeling software. The end user can see exactly how the final product will look after personalizing text and graphics by virtually spinning it around in 3D space and viewing the final folded product.
	Alignment controls The alignment controls allow both text and images to be automatically positioned. Horizontal center, vertical center, left, right, bottom and top can be used within the menu controls or using the correct key commands.
	Check spelling feature When enabling the spell check feature, any word that appears to be spelled incorrectly will be highlighted with a red squiggly line. Suggested replacements appear in the menu and changes are easily applied.
	Clipart by product The Photo Library allows images to be gathered from both company and end user across all products. The clipart tab is used when you want to assign images to specific products. Admins can create albums and upload images into selected albums and users are able to drag and drop predefined artwork files on the product.
	Color pallets Color pallets can be assigned to products and shoppers click on the color picker button to gain access. You can develop default colors for your pallets that are presented as theme colors. You can optionally allow custom color creation using both RGB and CYMK values. Shoppers can save these colors for easy reference.
	Color vector artwork Scalable vector graphics can be saved directly out of Illustrator CS to be used on PrintNow. This XML format can be modified so users can colorize fills and strokes online. All vector graphics are supported in and out of PrintNow.
	Configure any font PrintNow allows any PC or Mac font to be converted as a True type and uploaded into the system. Fonts can be assigned on a product by product basis and their is support for Regular, Bold, Italic and Bold Italic family versions.
	Copy & paste Cut, Copy and Paste controls work when copying text or images within the Online Editor or text from any other application. Shoppers can use key commands or access the top menu or "right click" menu for controls.
	Expand to full browser The Online Editor is truly as flexible as it gets. It can be configured to fit within the page so header remains visible by default and the "Expand" button will make the Online Editor convert to full screen mode for users that want to use as much of their browser as possible. Switching back is takes one click of the mouse.
	Foltolia integration Adding Fotolia premium image support to PrintNow instantly stocks the photo library with millions of royalty free images and vector artwork for purchase. Use Fotolia to create retail templates in the system by using low-res comps as place holders. Image credits are purchased thru PrintNow for use on your website and your only charged against the account when a order is placed. The print ready image is automatically downloaded and merged into the final product.
	Image controls Image controls can allow features such as scaling, rotation of place holder, rotation of image in placeholder, positioning, cropping, mirror imagining, and borders around images. Image types like "fit to mask", "fit to box" and "scale to fit" can be assigned to product or item to fit any requirement.
	Image effects Image effects are available in the photo library when editing a image or when editing a image on the actual product. Configurable image effects like black & white, sepia, opacity control, drop shadows, brightness & contrast, hue & saturation and blur & sharpening give the users options to customize images if enabled.
	Image resolution warning The Image resolution warning was designed to prompt the user if a uploaded image doesn’t meet the minimal printable resolution defined by you to maintain print quality. A warning symbol will pop up and provide instructional data warning if the user exceeds the limit.
	Instant proofing The proof mode in the online editor is an extremely fast and secure option for instant low-res watermarked proofs. Users can pan and zoom and proof page by page. Three optional proof modes are supported included flat mode, book mode & 3D mode. A additional low-res PDF proof can be made available if enabled.
	Page navigation There are three easy page navigation controls available on the flex editor. The page tab shows a thumbnail the user can click on to switch back and forth between pages. Forward and backward buttons as well as a page drop down list can quickly get the user to the right page.
	Photo library The photo library allows users to easily upload, edit, organize and collect photos for use on personalized template products you offer on your Storefront. Admins can assign album sharing across users and companies. Raster and vector image formats are supported in the Online Editor like: .PDF, .EPS, .PS, .AI, SVG, .PSD, .TIF, JPG, and .PNG.
	Polished flex interface The Online Editor requires minimal computer knowledge and empowers users with an elegant yet powerful application for easy online personalization. Optional tabs, buttons and features can be toggled on or off and all text can be changed or localized into a different language. The Online Editor can also be skinned to match a different look and feel.
	Rulers & guides Rulers and guides allow the user to drop horizontal and vertical guides down with measurements for precision placement and alignment. You can also create custom instructional layers for the end user on the template that can be locked down and not part of the final production file.
	Saved projects Projects that shoppers have started in the Online Editor are saved so on return they can begin where they left off. They can open their saved projects within the Online Editor or by visiting their projects stored in "My Account" pages. Admins can run a report on all users projects and access them to aid the shopper in completing the sale.
	Show bleed & trim By default shoppers see the online template in trim mode so it matches the finish product exactly but users can toggle the bleed area on or off and all images and text will be visible for adjustment.
	Swappable backgrounds For product designs that come in different styles or color combinations you can create a background category and assign it to any product. Users can easily swap out a background for another one in the collection. If you want the shopper to drop in their own photo as a background you would create a standard photo place holder for replacement.
	Swappable layouts Layouts are a powerful feature in the Online Editor that allow alternate template layouts to be set up and assigned to a product so the users can easily swap them out. A replace order feature allows the admin to define if a photo or text box will be retained on a swap so the data remains but the layout changes.
	Text & image rules Easily control options on a item by item basis with a few clicks of a button. Control access to features like positioning, opacity, rotation, text and photo place holder types, max lines, max characters, alignment, leading, color changes, style options, size options and much more. PrintNow makes it simple to lock things down or allow design freedom in its powerful tool set.
	Text controls Text controls for editing font options such as size, scale, style, alignment, leading, kerning, wrapping, color, positioning and rotation are fully configurable. Wrap, non wrap and scale to fit text control types can be assigned based on your needs. Text can optionally be displayed and controlled in a text panel on the left of your product or by editing directly on the product itself.
	Tool tip support Tool tips help the user get familiar with the Online Editor. There are over 50 tool tips that you can change assessable in the admin tools. Repeat customers familiar with the Online Editor may choose to toggle off tool tips for their account but it’s a simple solution to help users get started.
	Transparency support Full transparency is supported in PrintNow through image formats like PDF, PSD and PNG. Easily combine layers together to make a template in PrintNow and support any design.
	Undo & redo control Undo & redo controls are pretty common in desktop applications of today and a feature PrintNow made sure to support too. Users actions are recorded across the whole session so it makes it easy for anyone to go back and forth in history to a specific point in time.
	User layer controls Every text and image place holder element has a layer order and using the menus or key commands in PrintNow users can cycle these elements to the top or the bottom with a click of the mouse or button.
	Zoom Navigator Templates by default will "zoom to fit" in the available work space but there are times it would be helpful to zoom in and out of the design. The zoom navigator lets the user zoom in and out dynamically and a red square representing the visible area can be dragged to any region of the product for simple navigation without scroll bars.
